It was a heartwarming and therapeutic few days of “Help Us Help Vets & Idaho Veterans Network & VFW Post 4000 & Idaho Division of Veterans Services & Idaho Veterans Wreaths” joining forces to provide a hand up to veterans in need of housing furnishings as they transitioned from the Boise Rescue Mission & El-Ada to their very own housing. By joining forces from different veteran and state nonprofit organizations, we are able to strengthen our abilities to respond to struggling veterans in need of assistance as they battle to stand back up on their own two feet. Together we are stronger!
Help Us Help Vets recently helped the VFW Meridian Auxiliary fill "personal needs/goodie" boxes for the troops headed for overseas.
Donna and I recently had the privilege of delivering clothes to the veterans at the River of Life Men's Shelter. This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to ensure that our veterans have access to essential items. We are grateful to our donors whose contributions make these deliveries possible, helping us support those who have served our nation. The River of Life Men's Shelter, part of the Boise Rescue Mission, is a major project we support. This shelter provides crucial services to veterans, offering a safe place to stay and access to resources. Unlike many organizations, it operates entirely on donations, without government support. By donating men's clothing and other essentials, we help sustain this vital mission. Your support can make a difference; consider contributing to help us continue aiding those who have served our country. For more information and to support this mission, visit
