Now an OFFICIAL IRS Approved 501(c)3 Charitable Organization Do you know or love a veteran facing long-term health expenses?
If so, there is a VA program you should know about. It is called "Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit" and it can make an enormous difference in someone's life - when they really need it.
To qualify:
- A veteran must only have served 1 day in a war period, and
- A widow of a veteran must not have remarried.
They must have increasing medical expenses and will soon need the aid of another person to perform two of the following:
- drive
- move about
- take medications
- bathe
- cook or eat
- maintain personal hygiene
-- They may be eligible to receive up to $1949 per month for a couple, $1644 for a single Vet, or $1056 for a widow
